LONDON (Reuters) – More holidays, a burka ban and an end to exhausting Brexit – simply a few of the policies Britain’s opposition parties hope will forestall an awesome election victory by Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May in June.
First Tuesday after the primary Monday of November is Election Day. The federal authorities, in addition to state and municipal entities, observes this day for the election of public officers. Voters elect federal officers on even-numbered years; presidential elections are held each four years but congressional elections come each two years.
